Staffing

All the staff at Hartford Infant School warmly welcome you to the school and are passionate about your children’s learning and development. They are available to talk in the morning with our ‘open door’ policy. Simply pop into class and speak to an adult on the entry doors or request to see the class teacher. Appointments can be made through the office to speak to a teacher after school. We look forward to hearing from you.

We have a team of eight highly experienced teachers working in our six classrooms and they are supported by a wealth of professional Teaching Assistants, who can work individually and with groups of children on specific tasks and learning needs.

We are fortunate to have a SENDCo two days a week who supports families and children pastorally too.

Our Midday Supervisors are very familiar with the school and work closely with the teaching staff to ensure that lunchtimes are a happy and safe time for all children.

We also have a happy and welcoming office team, who can support parents/carers with any queries regarding school uniform to holiday requests to admission procedures and applying for Pupil Premium support.

The headteacher, Mrs Lee, is regularly on the school playground in the morning and often on a Friday afternoon to talk to any parents/carers about their children.
