Sports Premium Funding

Since 2013 schools have received additional money that is ring-fenced by head teachers to improve the quality of sport and PE in their schools. Please see the side panel for the previous year’s spending and impact reports.

Since 2017 a significant increase in funding has been allocated; each school receives approximately £16, 000 and an additional £10 per Key Stage 1 child based on their numbers of children across the school.

Having researched how best to spend this money to ensure that it has a long lasting impact, we have decided to use the money to support our Forest School initiative to ensure that every child has a high quality Forest School session each week with Forest School trained personnel.
